OCTOBER 30TH - 7:00 PM

Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE)
252 Bloor St. W. (at St. George Subway), ROOM #2214

KEITH BOLENDER, author and University of Toronto educator, has conducted interviews with more than 70 Cubans directly affected by 50 years of terrorism against their country, which has resulted in the deaths of 3,478 people and injuries to thousands more. He exposes the reality of terrorism against Cuba in his new book entitled “Voices from the Other Side: An oral history of Terrorism against Cuba”. Many of the terrorists who committed these acts are walking freely in the United States, without having to face any repercussions from the U.S. government, while they continue to plan more attacks.

LORNE GERSHUNY will provide an update of the latest developments in the cases of the Cuban Five, who continue to endure their unjust imprisonment in U.S. jails for over 11 years now, as a result of selflessly risking their lives by infiltrating some of the terrorist organizations that were carrying out these attacks and by informing the Cuban government of their plans and activities in order to prevent future attacks.
